Photoshop Tip : Copy vs Copy Merged

Most of us are unaware that there are 2 kinds of copy function inside photoshop.
There is copy and there is copy merged.

When we use the normal copy command (Ctrl-C / Cmd-C), only the active layer is copied across.

But when we use the copy merged command, we will copy a merged version of what is seen on the screen.
This can save alot of time especially you are bringing many images together.

  1. Thank you for sharing. It's the little things that you need to know. Especially if you are a beginner. If you work with HDR plug-ins, so it's the first thing you need to know. I am using this plugin https://aurorahdr.com/create-hdr-with-photoshop-elements11 and always use the second method. Good luck.
